Summer River Cruise – July 12 2026

All were aboard the Tower Belle and a fantasic evening of jazz by Kevin Grenfell’s Jazz Falcons 5, wonderful sunshine and cool breezes as we cruised up past the cold water swimmers, picnickers who also seemed to enjoy a fleeting jazz moment and just past Bees Tea Gardens.

The Wines of Rioja – Celebrating our 60th Year

On April the 11th we had our first celebration with an special tasting of the wines of Rioja presented by the President of the Wales and West Federation of Wine Circles Ron Williams.  Ron has a long history of winemaking , is a member of the Association of the Wines of Spain and specialises in the wines of Rioja. It was a great honour for us. The committee provided a tapas to go with each wine it was a lovely memorable afternoon

Avon Valley Railway Celebrating our 60th Year

On August 2nd we had our second celebration with an afternoon tea at the Avon Railway’s exclusive static train carriage together with a steam train ride. Beautiful weather and the lovely air condition carriage made this a truly memorable event
